Each Journey’s End….

…a perfect three point landing.

This is a little folder, the type stores used to mail out with the monthly charge account statements.  And in case you haven’t figured what product is being advertised, it’s shoes!  Inside the folder, it compares Footsavers (fine footwear for gentlemen) to an airplane – that the shoes are crafted to give the wearer a perfect three point landing.

This date to the very early 1930s, or maybe even 1929.  The plane is a Ford Tri-motor, which was first produced in the late 20s, but is more associated with the 30s.  And on the back of the folder is the name of the store – MV Moore & Company, Asheville, NC.   MV Moore eventually became Hunter and Coggins, a men’s store that is still open today.
