Climbing the tree must have been someone’s idea of a fun thing to do. I suspect it was the person with the camera. The girls in the tree don’t look so sure. How did they get up there? Look at the board leaning against the tree and you’ll see wet footprints!

Always enjoy your miscellany posts. As for the eternal appeal of Breton shirts, I’ve had four (Ralph Lauren, Garnet Hill, Banana Republic and Lord & Taylor) in my Poshmark inventory >> little interest. I think their appeal is somewhat limited (at the moment) to a narrow, and possibly mostly East Coast, audience.

Despite what the article says, I do think the popularity is waning a bit. Plus, they are really easy to get, with almost every retailer offering them.

I’m guessing the footprints are “planted” – a joke – and they got up there with a ladder or something. I also imagine they were nervous abut the weight of the three of them on the one limb. Fun photo. Thanks Lizzie.
